Mau makan apa is without a doubt one of the BEST furry-adjecent medias to come out in like. FOREVER.
even though it isnt finished yet, you can clearly see the potential and effort that has gone into it!
I personally think the mix of realistic buildings/backgrounds paired with the very stylized characters is really unique (Despite it being done quite a bit recently). It stands out clearly and puts emphasis on our characters.
speaking of characters, their style is really... the only thing they have going for them.
this is more present in the webcomic, but the characetrs of MMA aren't really eyecatching. Thyre actually very simple and have little-to-no defining characteristics that can make you go "oh! its ___!" on your first watch0 you really need to lock in and focus on a favourite to differentiate them.
though, I guess at the same time that's the point. MMA's whole storyline is based around mundane, everyday people, so making the designs simple makes sense that way.
